The Best Defense for Your Car's Paint
Paint Protection Film in Louisville, KY
Paint Protection Film is applied directly to your car's paint to absorb impacts and prevent damage, keeping your finish looking brand new. It is the most effective way to shield your investment from the hazards of daily driving
It's All About Impact Absorption
How Exactly Does PPF Work?
Think of paint protection film as a high tech shock absorber for your paint. It’s made from a tough, flexible material called thermoplastic urethane. When a rock or other piece of road debris strikes the film, the impact energy is spread out across the surface of the film instead of being focused on one tiny point. This dispersion of energy is what stops the object from chipping your paint. The film takes the hit so your clear coat doesn't have to. It's a simple concept, but the technology behind it is pretty advanced. It allows the film to be strong enough to stop damage, yet clear enough that you won't even know it's there.

This is where things get really cool. High quality PPF, like the STEK film we use, has self healing properties. The top layer of the film is a special elastomeric polymer that can "remember" its original shape. When a light scratch or swirl mark appears on the film from a car wash or a stray branch, the film can fix itself. All it needs is a little heat. The warmth from the sun on a summer day or even the heat from your engine is enough to cause the material to return to its smooth, original state. The scratches simply vanish. We know it sounds like something from a sci fi movie, but we’ve seen it happen countless times.

Strategic Coverage for High Impact Zones
Where Should You Apply PPF?
While you can wrap your entire vehicle in PPF, most people focus on the areas that are most likely to get damaged. This provides excellent value by shielding the most vulnerable parts of your car.
Common coverage packages include:
- Partial Front End: This typically covers the front part of the hood and fenders. It’s a good entry level option for basic coverage.
- Full Front End: This is our most popular package. It includes the entire hood, full fenders, front bumper, and side mirrors. This protects the entire forward facing portion of your car, which takes the most abuse.
- Track Package: This adds coverage for the rocker panels (the area below your doors) and behind the rear wheels. It’s perfect for sports cars or anyone who wants extra defense against debris kicked up by the tires.
- Full Vehicle: For the ultimate peace of mind, we can wrap every painted panel of your car. This ensures comprehensive coverage against scratches and environmental contaminants all over.
We can also customize a package to fit your exact needs. If you just want your bumper and headlights done, we can do that. Our job is to help you get the right amount of coverage for your car and driving habits.
